 JOHN BATCHELOR SHOW

Hour One
Friday 22 November 2019/ Hour 1, Block A:  Congressman Devin Nunes (C A-22), in re: Lee Smith’s book, The Plot against the President, has shot to the highest seller on Amazon in the US for several weeks.
Jerry Hendricks is a national treasure.  The trap?  Several issues.  The day Mueller walked in the door, he said, “Where are the Russians?” . . .  and there was none.  How did we know? In the spring of 2017, we in the House Intelligence Committee already had all possible evidence of anybody in the Trump campaign colluding with the Russians. We’d asked, “Where are the Russians?” This was two months before Mueller came to be. The second volume was one that we believe was written by Andrew Weissman, The whole thing was about obstruction of justice.  They’d set an obstruction of justice trap for the president. Trey Gowdy and I strongly believe that the Department of Justice, and FBI, or someone in there, as we began to investigate them —we turned the tables on them—was setting us up: they’d ask us to come in and look at info we’d been asking for and then, lo and behold, that night it’d leak to the WaPo or the New York Times.  After several times when they were desperate for us to come in and look at information and documents, Trey and I would laugh and say, We’re not participating in your obstruction of justice [games].
Friday 22 November 2019/ Hour 1, Block B:  Congressman Devin Nunes (C A-22), in re: One of the eight criminal referrals is: conspiracy to abuse the FISA court.  @DevinNunes
Friday 22 November 2019/ Hour 1, Block C:  Chris Riegel, Scala.com, in re:
Friday 22 November 2019/ Hour 1, Block D: Dan Henninger, WSJ editorial page and columnist, Wonder Land; in re: Show trial, kangaroo court . . ,  any surprises?  Nope, not many. Adam Schiff originally wanted to be a screen writer, so he knows what it means to be from central casting, and apparently wants to play that role. Vindman, Hill, Sondland, Taylor, Yovanovich . . .  A second channel involving Rudy Giuliani; they knew he was pushing to have the Ukrainians investigate the Bidens, and possible Ukrainian involvement in the 2016 election.  What devolved was that Giuliani wanted an announcement of investigation from Zelinsky; no evidence that anyone pressed for an actual investigation, least of all President Trump. This isn't close to an impeachable offense.  This looks to be an intense policy dispute; these have occurred from time immemorial. There’s a lot of knife fighting [in this sort of thing].  If you cannot abide the president’s orders, you should resign.  The policy dispute goes on for years. Was FDR correct in his lend-lease program?  He used back-channel negotiations.

At the recent Javits Center exhibition on security, Plymouth Rock’s innovation where a millimeter-wave radar can scan air travellers’s shoes while on the feet was well-received.  “Threat detection at airports is a crucial step toward public safety.”
Friday 22 November 2019/ Hour 2, Block D:  Dane Wheeler, director, president and CEO of Plymouth Rock Technologies, in re:  A large drone can detect even small amoutns of heat, making it good to search for lost children at night, look for people illegally traversing a border, or anyone hiding or lost in the bush. A large number of other inventions applicable to NYPD, US military, and everything in between.

Kim’s most advanced fighter is MiG-29 [Микоян МиГ-29] from the Nineties.  Mostly 23s and 17s. he does have a biplane! Actually, he has hundreds, a very low radar signature, can cross the border and drop in commandos – are dangerous. A highly-recommended film: The Man DeLorean.
