Being investigated not for graft but in power-play politics. Assad’s WMD supplier: North Korea has sold two or more factories to Syria; provides warheads and after-sale services (DPRK officers in Syria helping direct chem. weapons and other attacks) – China has been the intermediary, Xi consolidating power/  US has fund North Korean gas masks en route to Syria, often via Dalian in China (whence a lot of other weaponry). China opened its air space to missile deliveries to rogue states.  DPRK abrogated the armistice so signatories have the right to inspect shipments including in transit. US needs to stop sales of WMD and missiles by DPRK. China's rivers have become sewers – 110 tons of dead fish from industrial ammonia; China is polluting the world ocean via its rivers.
