Thursday 19 April 2018 / Hour 1, Block B:  Aryeh Green, author, My Israel Trail: Finding Peace in the Promised Land; in re: his long walk the length of Israel.  The Israel Trail connects multiple extant trails, with tricolor striped signs. Goes from Eilat to the North: 600-plus miles. The Appalachian Trail has way stations; not here. I actually had to bury water and food, or have them delivered to me in the desert.  Israel has trail angels who open their homes to trekkers for a shower and a night’s sleep.

Rocket Lab delays launch due to technical issue: a small-sat new company; electron rocket twice launched well. Window to  do first commercial launch to be delayed to next launch window (about three weeks) due to New Zealand regulations.  Motor-controller issue; decided to review the data, which is normal.
